Slovenia is home. Let me show you around.
Hi, I’m Nejc.
I was born and raised in Slovenia, and I’ve spent years exploring it on foot, by bike and on the road — discovering the places, people and flavours that make this small country so special.
Taste & Wonder Slovenia grew from a simple idea: the best way to experience Slovenia isn’t to see as much as possible. It’s to experience the right places in the right way.
That might mean arriving at Lake Bled before the crowds, taking a quiet road through an Alpine valley, sitting down for lunch somewhere you would never find by accident, or changing the day’s plans because the weather has opened up a better opportunity somewhere else.
Those are the experiences I want to share with you.
Travel with someone who knows Slovenia
There are plenty of lists telling you what to see in Slovenia. My job is different.
I help you decide what is actually worth your time.
Every Taste & Wonder journey is built around places I know and experiences I would recommend to friends visiting Slovenia for the first time. We combine the country’s famous highlights with quieter corners, local food and enough time to actually enjoy where you are.
No rushing from attraction to attraction. No trying to tick off an entire country in a few days.
Instead, you’ll discover Slovenia at a pace that leaves room for the unexpected.
Your journey, personally looked after
Taste & Wonder Slovenia is deliberately small.

From your first message to your journey through Slovenia, you’ll be dealing with people who are here, on the ground, and know the places you’re visiting.
We take care of the details — carefully selected accommodation, local experiences, logistics and recommendations — while keeping the journey personal and flexible.
Because sometimes the most memorable part of travelling isn’t something that appeared on the itinerary at all.
Come to Slovenia. We’ll show you around.

Founder, Taste & Wonder Slovenia
Local Knowledge. Professional Organisation.
Taste & Wonder Slovenia may be a new name, but the experience behind it isn’t.
For years, we’ve been welcoming international guests to Slovenia through Slovenia Bike Tours, organising private and small-group journeys across the country. We’ve planned routes, selected hotels and restaurants, managed transfers and logistics, and helped travellers experience Slovenia beyond the places found in every guidebook.
Taste & Wonder grew naturally from that experience.
We wanted to create the same personal, locally organised approach for travellers who don’t necessarily want to explore Slovenia by bike — but still want the local knowledge, flexibility and attention to detail that come with travelling with a small Slovenian company.
Today, Taste & Wonder focuses on private and self-guided journeys built around nature, food, culture and the quieter side of Slovenia.
The name is new. The country, the people we work with and the experience of organising journeys here are not.
What that means for you
Local knowledge
We live here and know the places you’re travelling through.
Personal organisation
Your journey isn’t passed through layers of operators and intermediaries. We organise it here in Slovenia.
Trusted local partners
We work with accommodation providers, restaurants and local partners we know and trust.
Support while you’re here
If plans need to change during your trip, you’re dealing with someone who is actually in Slovenia.
Experience with international guests
Years of organising journeys through Slovenia have taught us that the smallest details often make the biggest difference.
The same Slovenia. A new way to discover it.
Taste & Wonder allows us to share more of the Slovenia we love — not only its roads and trails, but its food, landscapes, people and places where travelling still feels like discovery.
Hidden tastes. Quiet wonders.
